I am so blessed to have them in my life.

DAY OF THANKS

After only three months at Miami, I have learned more about myself and the people in my life than i ever could of imagined. I have realized who I am and embraced how to appreciate my past and accept me rather than starting completely over; I have realized how much I LOVE my parents and how lucky I am; I have realized that I really do have the best friends in the world. SO in honor of thanksgiving, I’m going to go through some of the people that make the world go round and how thankful I am for them in my life <3

Mama Blach- We’ve gotten so close now that I am in college and I love that i can & want to tell you everything now.

Papa Blach- My favorite person in the world; his phone calls and texts starting with ‘hey babe’ or ‘what’s up sunshine’ make my life.

Brian & Matt- Brothers and family. We are all so different but together we make the Blachowicz clan and I love our differences.

Chole- I’ve always known how much I loved her, but i am THE LUCKIEST GIRL ALIVE to call her my best friend because of how much we understand each other. I am so thankful we found each other in this abyss full of people and that she came me with me to champaign that one weekend which has led to the best friendship ever. She’s everything. I am thankful that when I come back, our friendship only has gotten stronger and nothing has changed and nothing will.

Katie G - I am thankful for her friendship and the excitement and zest she permeates when she enters a room and how excited she gets when I come.

Aviva- I am so thankful she messaged me on facebook that one fateful day because that has made all the difference with why I love Miami.

Mariah- I am so thankful I found her because she is what made me fall in love with Miami. We have so much in common & our personalities that mesh perfectly is what got me through my college adjustment. Without her, I don’t know where I would be.

Bekah & Jessie- Along with Mariah, these girls have the purest hearts and like mariah, gave me reassurance I made the right decision and that there are people at Miami who will become my best friends, and who are weird like me.

Rachael, Claire, Shannon & hinswood girls- I am so thankful for there craziness and spontaneous personalities. I am thankful for their laughter and how much joy they bring me. I bolded rachael because of how she makes the effort to see me and her snapchats show that she is constantly thinking of me, which sounds a bit selfish, but I really am thankful for her friendship- although we haven’t known each other along, it just goes to show how beautiful she is.

Alecia- I am thankful for her putting up with my stress, anxiety, overdramatic personality. The fact I can call her with whatever problem and she can solve it; for her crazy obsession like mind that I have.

Marissa- Thankful for us becoming friends again after that awks period of time when we weren’t. For our hinswood bond staying strong.

Drew- I am so thankful for him taking APAH because he has become one of my best friends; for him asking me to PAROM and making my senior year worth life, & for how he is always there to make me laugh and realize that people care. How i always have someone to listen to me talk.

Tiffany- I am thankful for her humor and how she calls me when there is something wrong- making me realize that I am important and someone does depend on me.

Taylor- I am thankful that my brother gave me the opportunity to meet her; she is the one who helped my brother and I develop a real relationship and where we can talk; For becoming a sister like figure to me.

Molly- For that one time for messaging me on tumblr/facebook and reassuring me that everything will be okay and people do care  & that i am not alone.

& many more; for everyone who has helped me discover something about myself. I am so blessed.

Now that was a show. It was perfection. The moment they came on to the Star Wars intro the place was dark, and then was lit by all our bracelets.

It felt like we were among the stars, or it was Christmas as a little kid. One of the two. 

They were amazing. With all the lights, the lyrics, and the love. I cried at The Scientist, hugged Tiffany during Fix You, jammed to Viva La Vida, inspired by Lovers in Japan, danced the night away to Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, and witnessed Paradise by all the lights. Coldplay, you made my life. I don’t know how to describe my mood other than complete.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME: I AM NINETEEN

Although this birthday was just an average day for the most part, I really can’t complain. Having my friends bake me brownies, post the cutest things, and have my roommate set up the room when I came back from my final, just reassures me that I am surrounded by the right company. & although there are some not so positives to the day and people in the world, I am going to focus on the positive and all that surrounded me today because there is just too much good to let it bother me. I do know the most amazing people with the best hearts.

4) getting phone calls from my grandma, alecia, broha brian, my dad

6) all the birthday snapchats

7) all the facebook notifications- it honestly makes my day the little facebook comments and see who posts and what they say. even if it is a simple happy birthday, it makes me feel special (especially caliboy hehe)

9) the fact that MORETTI REMEMBERED MY BIRTHDAY

10) My RA and taylor knocking on my door and wishing me a happy birthday

11) the picture that Drew sent me of him sky ping with emelyn literally brings so much joy to me.

although my birthday is over with, everyday I celebrate the joy of life and the joy of being surrounded by these wonderful people.
